The Journey Book Club was born from a desire to share the love of Jesus through the medium of books in
a non-threatning way to both believers and non-believers. Throughout the past year we've enjoyed a variety of books,
had lots of fun, food, and fellowship. All ages enjoy the group. Our next book club meeting will be Friday July 9th, 2010
at the church @6:30 p.m. Books are $13. We will all be making our favorite Chili recipe...and perhaps we
will have a few cornbread dishes too. I think we have some good cooks who can rival the best recipes of the Annual Chili
Cook-Off at the State Office Building. The next book we will be reading is Vieled Freedom by Jeanette Windle...which has recently been nominated for both the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association's Christian Book of the Year
Award for 2010 and the Christy Award. All are Welcome |
